Personal Career & Interests	Mian Tariq Mehmood son of Mian Ghulam Rasul was born on May 5, 1955 at Dinga, District Gujrat and graduated in 2003 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. He remained Chairman, Town Committee Dinga during 1987-92; as Member, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab during 1988-90, 1990-93 and 1997-99 and 2008-13; and also functioned as Parliamentary Secretary for Social Welfare & Zakat during 1988-90 and 1990-93; and as Minister for Population Welfare during 1993. A businessman and an agriculturist, who has returned to the Punjab Assembly for the fifth term in general elections 2013. He has travelled to Norway, USA, UK, Canada, Italy, Spain and Saudi Arabia. His daughter, Ms Maria Tariq remained a Member of Punjab Assembly during 2002-07.
