DR. MUHAMMAD AMJAD SAQIB (Sitara-a-Imtiaz) Dr. Saqib is founder of Akhuwat and Akhuwat is his real passion but he also renders honorary other services for many other NGOs. He is Vice Chairman Punjab Educational Endowment Fund, Chairman Management Committee Fountain House, Honorary Managing Director Punjab Welfare Trust for the Disabled, Member Board of Director Punjab Education Foundation, Member Syndicate Punjab University, Member Syndicate University of Education, Commissioner Punjab Health Care Commission, Member Punjab Red Crescent Society. Recently, Prime Minister of Pakistan appointed him Chairman Steering Committee for Prime Minister’s Interest Free Loan Programme.

23-03-2015 Sajjad was yesterday presented with Pakistan’s highest national honour to non-Pakistanis for services that have helped the country. He was awarded the Sitara-i-Qaid-i-Azam in Islamabad by Mamnoon Hussain, the President of Pakistan, joining ranks with the British Queen and Nelson Mandela. Saj or Sajjad Haider Karim belongs to Gujjar family of Mundi Baha o din. his parents migrated from Pakistan to England in 1960. Sajjad elected three times MEP of European  parliament. he contested in presidential election of EU in 2015.
