New Worthy Vice Chancellor of Gomal University Dr. Muhammad Sarwar was a Professor in Institute of Animal Nutrition and Feed Technology, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Based on his brilliant career and marvelous achievements, not only HEC awarded him titles of HEC Distinguished National Professor, Best University Teacher Award but The Ohio State University (OSU), Columbus, USA, also awarded him title of OSU Distinguished Alumnus-2014. Kaniska, also spelled Kanishka, Chinese Chia-ni-se-chia (flourished 1st century ce), greatest king of the Kushan dynasty that ruled over the northern part of the Indian subcontinent, Afghanistan, and possibly areas of Central Asia north of the Kashmir region.
