Personal Career & Interests	Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal son of Chaudhry Sultan Ahmed was born on July 6, 1943 in India. He graduated in 1963 from GovernmentCollege, Sheikhupura. An agriculturist, who has been serving as Member and Chairman Union Council since long. He has successively been elected as Member Provincial Assembly of the Punjab since 1985 i.e. during 1985-88, 1988-90, 1990-93, 1993-96 and 1997-99; and also functioned as Minister for Revenue, Minister for Irrigation & Power, Minister for Information, Minister for Agriculture, Minister for Education, Minister for Food and as Special Assistant to Chief Minister during these periods. He has returned to Punjab Assembly for the sixth consecutive term in General Elections 2002. He worked as Minister for Food from January 4, 2003 to November 30, 2006. He is functioning as Minister for Health since December 1, 2006. He visited Malaysia during 1996 to attend 42nd CPA Conference.
