Major General (R) Liaqat Ali Gujjar

Major General (R) Liaqat Ali is serving chairman of Lahore Garrison School System and retired from Arty[18] — DG Rangers (Sindh), Karachi.

Maj Gen Liaqat Sahib belongs to Gujjar family from Gujrat. He joined Pak Army as a solider and then got commission in Pakistan Army.

ISLAMABAD, March 15 , 2010 The Director General of Rangers (Sindh), Maj-Gen Liaquat Ali, was called to the interior ministry on Monday and grilled for not using special powers delegated to his force to control target killings in Karachi.

Sources in the ministry told Dawn that the Rangers DG called on Interior Minister Rehman Malik and gave a briefing about law and order situation in Karachi.
