چوہدری محمد اقبال مرحوم چیلیانوالہ (بابائے گجراں )
آپ 1919 میں بمقام چیلیانوالہ ضلع منڈی بہاؤالدین سابق ضلع گجرات میں پیدا ھوے. آپ کے والد محترم چوہدری خان محمد گجر آنریری مجسٹریٹ اور علاقہ کے ذیلدار تھے. آپ نے سیاست کا آغاز 1960 میں کیا اور ممبر مغربی پاکستان اسمبلی منتخب ھوے. آپ ممبر قومی اسمبلی، ممبر وفاقی مجلس شوریٰ اور سابق چیئرمین ڈویلپمنٹ بورڈ گجرات بھی رھے.آپ کے بھائی چوہدری محمد اشرف سینٹر بھی رھے اور ان کے بیٹے ذکاء اشرف مشیر وزیر اعلیٰ سندھ اور صدر پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ رہے.
چوہدری محمد اقبال صاحب کے دو صاحبزادے جن میں موجودہ سردار گجر قوم سینٹر جعفر اقبال سابق ڈپٹی اسپیکر قومی اسمبلی اور سابق وزیر صحت پنجاب رھے. دوسرے بیٹے ناصر اقبال ایم این اے اور ریلوے کے پارلیمانی سیکرٹری رہے. آپ کی بہو محترمہ عشرت اشرف تین مرتبہ ایم این اے مشیر وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب رھی. آپ کی پوتی محترمہ زیب جعفر MPA مشیر وزیر اعلیٰ پنجاب اور آجکل MNA ھیں. آپ کے پوتے عمر جعفر اقبال MPA ھیں. آپ کی ایک پوتی مائزہ حمید گجر MNA ھیں. جبکہ شفقت محمود MNA،ڈاکٹر صفدر محمود، کیپٹن فضیل اصغر آپ کے بھانجے ھیں. آپ کو 1986 سردار گجر قوم بنایا گیا اسکے بعد سیاست کو خیر باد کہہ کر بس اپنی قوم کی خدمت کا بیڑہ اٹھایا اور مرتے دم تک اس ذمہ داری سے وفا نبھائی. 18مارچ کو آپ کی برسی منائی گئی. اللہ تعالیٰ آپ کی مغفرت فرمائے. آمین
